    Daimler Sues Carmakers Over Smart Car Design IP

    Daimler AG sued Shuanghuan Automobile Co. Ltd. and Wheego Electric Cars Inc. in Michigan federal court on Wednesday, claiming the carmakers infringed patented and trademarked designs to produce "blatant knockoffs" of Daimler's smart fortwo automobiles.
