Global Aviation Can Launch Second Ch. 11 In Del., For Now
A Delaware bankruptcy judge allowed the second Chapter 11 proceeding in as many years for Global Aviation Holdings Inc. to take off from Delaware on Thursday, and gave the interim nod to a $52 million revolving post-petition loan from lenders led by a unit of Cerberus Capital Management LP.

The new Chapter 11 case for Global Aviation Holdings Inc. was left on the runway Wednesday after a Delaware bankruptcy judge said she wouldn't consider any of the company's first-day motions until getting the OK from the judge presiding over its still-open previous stint in bankruptcy in New York.

Pilots Launch WARN Suit Against Bankrupt Airline
Pilots who worked for bankrupt World Airways Inc. on Tuesday filed a putative class action against the airline for allegedly failing to give them 60 days' notice as required under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act prior to laying them off.
