CIA Doesn't Owe Volume Estimates In FOIA Scope Ruling
A Washington, D.C., federal judge Thursday rejected efforts to revive three Freedom of Information Act claims in a transparency advocate's class action against a new CIA rule, saying a recent appellate decision did not oblige the Central Intelligence Agency to provide specific estimates of the total volume of withheld records.
