Remote Control Maker Wins $4.6M Fees In Patent Row
A California federal judge on Friday ordered Universal Electronics Inc. to pay $4.6 million in attorneys' fees and costs to rival Universal Remote Control Inc. in a failed suit over four remote control patents, after previously ruling that the company must pay fees under the U.S. Supreme Court's Octane ruling.
