EPA Beats Enviros' Suit Over Gulf 'Dead Zone' Rules
A Louisiana federal judge on Thursday ruled that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency sufficiently explained its decision not to set federal limits on nitrogen and phosphorous in the ocean, striking down a lawsuit by environmental groups that said nutrient pollution has created a giant "dead zone" near the mouth of the Mississippi River.
