    Panasonic Beats Suit Over TV Picture Patent

    A California federal judge on Tuesday threw out Innovus Prime LLC's lawsuit accusing Panasonic Corp. of violating one of its television picture processing patents, ruling Panasonic is protected by a nearly 30-year-old contract the company inked with the patent's original owner, U.S. Philips Corp.
