    FLSA Settlements Require Court Approval, Judge Says

    A Pennsylvania federal judge ruled Thursday that Budget Renovations & Roofing Inc. and workers were required to get court approval before settling a putative collective action, agreeing with an Eleventh Circuit decision that said unsupervised Fair Labor Standards Act settlements aren't permissible.
