Joint Venture To Pay $37M For 'Titanic' Effects Firm
A Delaware bankruptcy judge agreed Monday to approve the sale of Digital Domain Media Group Inc. to a joint venture of Chinese and Indian media companies after they agreed to pay nearly $37 million for most of the special-effects house's assets at a Friday auction.

'Titanic' Effects Firm's Hastened Sale Plan Gets Court OK
Digital Domain Media Group Inc., creator of special-effects for "Titanic" and "Transformers," got the go-ahead from a Delaware bankruptcy judge Thursday to proceed with its "unprecedented" sale schedule calling for an auction and sale hearing within weeks of the Chapter 11 filing.
