FDIC Wins $4.9M From WaMu's Title Insurer For Loan Fraud
A federal judge on Wednesday ruled that Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund Inc. must pay the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. $4.9 million for failing to reimburse funds that ATIF agents misappropriated from now defunct Washington Mutual Bank FSB in a number of residential real estate transactions.
