3rd Circ. Says Court Opinion Excerpts In Atty Ads Are OK
The Third Circuit on Monday said a New Jersey rule barring attorneys from excerpting judicial opinions for advertising purpose is unconstitutional and unduly burdensome, siding with an employment lawyer who argued his use of excerpts on his website was not misleading to consumers.
