    9th Circ. Says Compilation Copyrights Cover Each Work

    Overturning a ruling for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Co. in a dispute with an Alaskan stock photography company, the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday ruled that a copyright registration for a collective work includes copyright registrations for the included works, as well, even if each author isn't identified.
