    Class Seeks Final OK In $5.5M TCPA Deal With Debt Collector

    A class of consumers in multidistrict litigation accusing debt collector Convergent Outsourcing Inc. of calling their cellphones without consent, in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, urged a Connecticut federal judge Wednesday to stamp final approval on a settlement worth $5.5 million.
