Former City Atty DQ'd In Memphis Rape Kit Testing Row

A Tennessee magistrate judge on Monday disqualified attorney Robert L.J. Spence Jr. from representing a putative class in a suit accusing the city of Memphis of failing to appropriately test rape kits, saying that Spence's former position as a city attorney means he could be considered a defendant in the suit.
