Judge Pares Humana's Claims In RICO Suit Against Medtronic
A Tennessee federal judge on Friday trimmed Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and fraud claims in a suit brought by Humana Inc. accusing Medtronic Inc. of paying for literature falsely representing the safety of its Infuse bone graft product for uses not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, letting only Medicare-based claims survive.
