Insurer Needn't Cover Federal Signal In Speaker Injury Suit
Peerless Indemnity Insurance Co. doesn't have to defend or indemnify Federal Signal Corp. in a suit filed by a U.S. Navy seaman who claimed he was partially blinded by debris from a malfunctioning speaker, as Federal Signal is not insured under a Peerless policy issued to its business partner, an Illinois federal judge ruled Thursday.
