    Kimberly-Clark, Halyard Get $450M Punitives Slashed

    A California federal jury was right to hold Kimberly-Clark Corp. and its spinoff Halyard Health Inc. responsible for misleading buyers about the impermeability of the companies’ MicroCool surgical gowns, but awarded unconstitutionally high punitive damages, a judge said Friday in slashing the original $450 million award to just over $20 million.
