    Nissin Foods Escapes Cup Noodle Trans Fat Class Action

    A California federal judge on Friday dismissed a proposed class action over trans fat in Nissin Foods Co. Inc.'s Cup Noodle products, finding that the plaintiff's claim that he didn't know about the synthetic ingredient was undercut by a five-year legal crusade he has waged against trans fat from partially hydrogenated oils.
