    HSBC Bank USA sued O'Connell Attmore & Morris LLC in Massachusetts federal court Friday alleging that after it hired the law firm to conduct a foreclosure auction, attorneys failed to tell the bank that the property had been sold at tax auction until after the redemption period had closed, costing the bank its collateral.
