'Sham' Law Firm Can't Shake Allstate's Fraud Claims
A federal judge in Washington state declined Tuesday to toss Allstate's suit alleging that an attorney not licensed to practice in the state and a nonlawyer created a "sham" law firm in order to profit off fraudulent insurance claims, concluding that the insurer successfully revamped its allegations after an earlier dismissal.
