Enviros Sue EPA Over Unregulated Ammonia Gas Pollution
Seven environmental groups sued the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in D.C. federal court Friday, saying the agency has ignored their 2011 petition to protect public health by more strictly regulating ammonia, in a lawsuit that specifically called out livestock operations as the leading U.S. source of the gas.
