A Tennessee federal judge has denied the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's subpoena of a Wendy's restaurant franchisee, ruling that information about whether one employee's allegation that she had to sign a waiver to get a promotion affected other workers' potential claims was outside the scope of the case.
