    Walgreens Beats Suit Calling Its Peroxide Claim 'Folklore'

    An Illinois federal judge tossed a proposed class action alleging Walgreen Co. misled customers by claiming its branded 3% hydrogen peroxide solution is good for treating minor cuts, saying U.S. Food And Drug Administration language on similar products preempts the plaintiffs' allegation that Walgreens' claim is mere "folklore."
