Lack Of Jurisdiction Helps MGM Escape Change-Shorting Suit
A federal judge has dismissed, for now, a proposed class action that accuses MGM Resorts of stealing change from its slot players, saying the matter falls under the jurisdiction of the Mississippi Gaming Commission, not the courts, and that the proposed putative class damages would most likely not exceed the required $5 million threshold.
