Judge OKs Dean Foods' $30M Antitrust Settlement

Law360, New York (May 4, 2011, 7:43 PM EDT) -- A Vermont federal judge on Wednesday approved a $30 million settlement in an antitrust suit brought by a class of dairy farmers against Dean Foods Co., saying the parties had dealt with concerns the remaining defendants raised.

U.S. District Judge Christina Reiss gave preliminary approval to the deal between Dean and 10,000 dairy farmers.
