Dallas Jury Awards $49M In Corporate Jet Dispute

Law360, Dallas (March 1, 2013, 7:31 PM EST) -- A Dallas jury on Thursday handed down a nearly $49 million verdict to Tary Network Ltd. and Citadella International Group Ltd. for losses allegedly incurred after airline companies backed out of contracts to finish out two luxury corporate jets.

After a two-week trial, the jury found Associated Air Center LP and DAE Aviation Holdings Inc. liable for breaching contracts to complete interior work on the planes and wrongly retaining $4 million in security deposits the companies paid. The damages award also included $9 million in lost...
