NJ Justices Won't Review Settlement Over Atty Conflicts

Law360, New York (June 16, 2017, 8:38 PM EDT) -- New Jersey’s high court on Thursday declined a construction company’s request to rehear a state appeals court decision that upheld a trial court ruling enforcing a settlement between two construction contractors despite an attorney’s alleged conflict.

The New Jersey Supreme Court in a one-page order without reasoning declined to hear a petition for certification from Burris Construction, which was seeking to have the high court reconsider a March decision at the state’s Appellate Division affirming a January 2015 order entering judgment in favor of Moon Landscaping...
