The Court can accommodate either option. The parties consent to the Court holding pre-settlement conference calls with counsel for each party. Plaintiff's settlement letter shall be delivered to Defendant, with a copy delivered to the Court via the Court's settlement correspondence email at Settlement_Correspondence_BassEhler@ilnd.uscourts.gov, on or before 8/17/26. Defendant's settlement letter shall be delivered to Plaintiff, with a copy delivered to the Court via the same settlement correspondence email address, on or before 8/31/26. All parties are reminded to review Magistrate Judge Bass Ehler's Standing Order for Settlement Conferences posted on the Court's website at www.ilnd.uscourts.gov/Judges and the provisions concerning attendance at the settlement conference of people with "full settlement authority" as defined in that Order.
