MINUTE ORDER (paperless), upon consideration of plaintiffs' 36 Motion to Stay Briefing on United American Security's Motion to Dismiss ("Pls.' Mot."), and defendant United American Security's ("UAS") 40 Response to Pls.' Mot., each of which expresses a desire to stay briefing on UAS's 31 Motion to Dismiss to allow parties to submit simultaneous supplemental briefs addressing the implications for UAS's motion of Chang v. United American Security, No. 24-cv-2377 (BAH), 2026 WL 1661436 (D.D.C. June 9, 2026); given that the open motions in Chang have now been decided; and given the need for judicial efficiency and the benefits of a standard motion-response-reply briefing schedule, DENYING plaintiffs' motion to stay UAS's Motion to Dismiss; VACATING the response and reply deadlines for UAS's Motion to Dismiss; and ISSUING the following SCHEDULING ORDER:(1) By July 9, 2026, UAS shall file a brief in support of its Motion to Dismiss, ECF No. 31, including by addressing Chang, 2026 WL 1661436;(2) By July 23, 2026, plaintiffs shall file any response to defendant's motion to dismiss;(3) By July 30, 2026, UAS shall file any reply in support of its motion to dismiss; and FURTHER, ACCEPTING UAS's 41 Notice of Voluntary Withdrawal without prejudice of the motions to compel arbitration and stay this case, embedded within its 31 Motion to Dismiss.
