   Order on Motion for Extension of Time

   ORDER denying 45 Motion for Extension of Time (the “Motion”). The parties have failed to demonstrate good cause for the extension, as required by Local Rule 7(b)(1). Further, the Motion was filed more than a month after the close of discovery. And it did not demonstrate “compelling circumstances warranting an extension,” as required by Local Rule 7(b)(3) for all motions for extension of time that are not filed within at least three business days before the deadline sought to be extended. Finally, the parties have failed to state any reason for tying the extension of discovery to the timing of the Court’s decision on the partial motion to dismiss. Thus, the 45 Motion for Extension of Time is denied.

   The parties had previously filed a joint Rule 26(f) Report that was signed by Attorney John Bolton while he was suspended from practicing in the District of Connecticut. See ECF No. 27.  Now that Attorney Bolton’s suspension has been lifted, that report is stricken and the parties are directed to confer and file another Rule 26(f) Report on or before September 1, 2026.
