ORDER ACCEPTING RECEIPT ONLY OF STATUS REPORT 175 , DIRECTING THE FILING OF A FURTHER STATUS REPORT AND PROVIDING NOTICE FROM THE COURT AS TO CERTAIN MATTERS. The Court accepts receipt of the Joint Status Report 175 of the parties and directs the filing of a further Joint Status Report on the earlier of 30 days from the date of this Order or a material development in this case. The case will remain administratively closed on the docket without prejudice to any party. The Court reserves any decision as to monetary sanctions against Plaintiff's counsel. Further, to the extent the Joint Status Report at 175 reflects that Plaintiff's counsel negotiated on Plaintiff's behalf a settlement of the underlying action while simultaneously negotiating the resolution of the monetary sanctions against Plaintiff's counsel, the Court may require a demonstration that Plaintiff has entered into any settlement agreement of the action only with and upon the advice of independent legal counsel, and/or the Court may require a detailed, on-the record colloquy with the Plaintiff as to the knowing and voluntary nature of any settlement agreement.
