MINUTE ENTRY for a Telephone Status Conference held before Magistrate Judge Seth D. Eichenholtz on 9/25/2026. Appearance for Plaintiff: Michael P. Mangan. Appearance for Defendant: Fiamma De Nardo. Status conference held. The parties are nearing an agreement on a settlement of this matter. However, Defendant's counsel asked that the Court resume consideration of her motion to withdraw, which was previously held in abeyance so that settlement talks can proceed. The Court directed Plaintiff's counsel to provide a draft settlement agreement to Defendant's counsel. After reviewing that document, Defendant's counsel shall file a status letter by 10/9/2026 advising if she wants the Court to resolve the motion to withdraw, or if she be able to represent Defendant for the purpose of completing the settlement agreement. If Defendant's counsel wants the Court to resolve the motion, she should include any supplemental arguments in support of the motion to withdraw as part of the status letter. The status letter should also include an update on Defendant's ongoing efforts to obtain new counsel.
If Defendant's counsel can represent Defendant to finalize the settlement, the parties shall file the settlement stipulation by 10/26/2026.
