TEXT ORDER: The Court has reviewed the parties' July 8, 2026 joint status report [D.E. 674]. The tone and mutual finger-pointing in the joint status report make clear that there has been a fundamental breakdown in the meet-and-confer process. It is also evident from the fact that no counsel for the Third-Party Payor Plaintiffs appeared for the meet-and-confer. However, the Court knows all counsel in this matter to be highly experienced, capable, and diligent attorneys. Accordingly, the Court will afford the parties one, final opportunity to reach agreement through the meet-and-confer process. All affected parties shall immediately renew their meet-and-confer efforts to agree on either: (1) production dates for each of the discovery items still outstanding (i.e., (i) Amneal's production of responsive documents from the approximately 400,000 documents universe that its filter excluded; (ii) MSPRC's long overdue data production; and (iii) the medical and pharmacy-claims data that the TPPs owe), or (2) a single deadline for substantial completion of written discovery. The July 15th conference will proceed as scheduled. If counsel do not report that they have reached agreement, the Court will set its own deadline at that conference, and there will be no further extensions allowed. So Ordered by Magistrate Judge Michael A. Hammer on 7/9/2026. (Hammer, Michael)
