Amended petition for writ of habeas corpus
Second AMENDED PETITION by a Federal prisoner for writ of habeas corpus filed by Yisnel Garcia Gonzalez.(MLB)
Order
ENDORSED ORDER striking 5 Amended Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus for failure to comply with Local Rule 1.08. Petitioner's original complaint was stricken for the same violation. Nevertheless, he failed to bring his petition in compliance despite the direction and resources provided to him in the Court's July 30, 2026 4 Order. Instead, it appears that he re-filed substantially the same petition but added a certificate of compliance with the 3 Standing Order Requiring Disclosure of the Use of Artificial Intelligence. The Court previously provided Petitioner with resources for pro se litigants and has twice warned him 2, 4 that failure to comply with procedural rules or court Orders is a basis on which the petition could be dismissed. Petitioner is again directed to the resources available for pro se litigants on the Middle District of Florida's website under the "For Litigants" and "Litigants Without Lawyers" tabs and he is granted a final opportunity to amend his petition by August 12, 2026. He should anticipate that his amended petition will be dismissed if he fails to carefully follow the applicable rules and Orders that govern this case. Signed by Judge Anne-Leigh Gaylord Moe on 8/4/2026.
