For the reasons stated on the record, the Court finds on preliminary review that the proposed settlement is within the range of possible approval. As a result, Direct Purchaser Plaintiffs' Unopposed Motion for Preliminary Approval of the Settlement Agreements with Defendants Hormel Foods Corporation and Jennie-O Turkey Store, Inc 1936 is granted. As discussed on the record, the parties' revised proposed order shall be submitted via email to Proposed_Order_Harjani@ilnd.uscourts.gov. A fairness hearing is set for November 24, 2026 at 12 p.m. via videoconference. Details to follow. All previously set dates relating to the Final Pretrial Conference, October 2026 trial, and the September 8, 2026 fairness hearing are stricken. Jury trial set for October 8, 2026 is stricken, as are all pretrial conference dates.
