(TEXT-ONLY) ORDER by the Honorable Scott P. Klosterman. On September 28, 2026, the Court held an informal discovery conference to discuss proposed language in the parties' stipulated protective order concerning retention, return, or destruction of confidential information following conclusion of the case. Participants included: Seth Jones and Stacy Burrows for Plaintiff; Jacqueline Hyatt and Jeff Pope for Defendant Shell Trading Company; and Mandy Good for Defendant Black Bear Oil Corporation. After hearing arguments from the parties, the Court finds that return or destruction of confidential information produced by an opposing party does not run afoul of professional and ethical rules or obligations applicable to the parties' counsel. Accordingly, the parties shall include in their stipulated protective order a provision for the return or destruction of confidential information as proposed by Defendants. (Court Staff, sbrr)
