(In Chambers) Order by Judge Stanley Blumenfeld, Jr.: The September 14, 2026 hearing on Plaintiffs motion to authorize alternative service (Dkt. No. 14) is vacated. That motion fails to include the word-count certification required by Local Rule 11-6.2. In addition, certain features of the motion-including its repetition and formulaic language-raise a question whether generative artificial intelligence was used to prepare it. By September 14, Plaintiffs' counsel shall file a declaration stating (1) the word count of the memorandum and certifying whether it complies with Local Rule 11-6.1 and Judge Klausner's standing order, which was in place at the time Plaintiffs filed their motion, see Dkt. No. 13 at 3-4, and (2) whether generative artificial intelligence was used to generate any portion of the motion and, if so, certifying that the filer had reviewed the source material and verified that the artificially generated content was accurate and complied with the filer's Rule 11 obligations.
