Judgment
Judge Allison D. Burroughs: ORDER entered. AMENDED JUDGMENT. (CAM)
Order on Motion to Correct
Judge Allison D. Burroughs: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. Before the Court is the United States' motion, [ECF No. 28 ], to correct the judgment entered by this Court on May 22, 2026, [ECF No. 27 ]. The United States is correct that the Court inadvertently omitted language from paragraph (C) of the proposed default judgment that was necessary to dispose of the United States' crossclaim against Defendant Groezinger, who has been defaulted, see [ECF Nos. 13 , 20 ]. For the reasons set forth in the Court's memorandum and opinion, [ECF No. 26 ], the Court intended to include that language in the original judgment; its omission was mere oversight. Accordingly, the motion to correct the judgment is GRANTED. The Court hereby CORRECTS its judgment pursuant to Rule 60(a) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, see Bowen Inv., Inc. v. Carneiro Donuts, Inc., 490 F.3d 27, 29 (1st Cir. 2007), by adding the following language: "Crossclaim Defendant Robert Groezinger is liable to the Crossclaim Plaintiff United States of America for his federal tax liabilities for the years 2012-2015 in the amount of $63,960.40, plus interest from and after May 1, 2026, pursuant to 26 U.S.C. §§ 6601, 6621, 6622, and 28 U.S.C. § 1961(c)(1)."An amended judgment will issue hereafter. (CAM)
An amended judgment will issue hereafter.
