Settlement Conference
MINUTES of Settlement Conference held before Magistrate Judge David T. Bristow. The matter was called and the parties stated their appearances on the record. ChaHee Lee Olson, Esq., Margaret Jaramilla Phe, Esq., and Sara Brown, Esq., of Nagahima Lee, PC, appeared along with their client, plaintiff Adan Ordonez. Darren W. Epps, Esq., of Epps and Gilroy, LLP, appeared on behalf of defendant, Red Hill Lava Products, Inc. Anthony E. Sonnett, Esq., of Lewis, Brisbois, Bisgaard and Smith LLP, appeared on behalf of defendant, BNSF Railway Company. David B. Burnett, Esq., of Resnik and Louis, also appeared on behalf of defendant, BNSF Railway Company. After appearances were entered, the Court engaged in separate sessions, in chambers, with counsel, in an effort to resolve the matter. After multiple separate conferences with counsel, a settlement agreement was reached between the parties. The Court recalled the matter and, following restatement of appearances by counsel, Mr. Sonnett, counsel for BNSF, placed the terms of the settlement on the record (one of which was confidential), and all counsel and the party representatives agreed with and accepted the settlement terms.
