Minute Order Order on Stipulation
MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Nancy J. Koppe on 8/19/2026. Pending before the Court is the third try at requesting an extension of case management deadlines. Docket No. 15 . As was the case previously, the primary thrust of the request is that the parties are still obtaining medical records and that such process advances on the timetable of the medical providers. Id. at 3. The Court has already addressed this very same issue, explaining that the parties had not supplied the information necessary to show they have been diligent in seeking those records. Docket No. 14 at 1-2 ("The stipulation does not provide any elaboration, however, including specifying the efforts undertaken to date to obtain those records (i.e., whether subpoenas have been served on medical providers, the dates they were served, and the nature of any responses) or providing any detail as to the nature or extent of the alleged injuries" (cleaned up)). Although the communications between counsel recognize the need to provide this detail, Docket No. 15 at 8, it remains absent from the stipulation that was filed. Hence, the key question remains unanswered: what are the details of the efforts made to obtain medical records showing that the current deadlines cannot be met despite the exercise of reasonable diligence? Accordingly, the latest stipulation is again DENIED without prejudice. IT IS SO ORDERED. (Copies have been distributed pursuant to the NEF - TM)
