PAPERLESS ORDER. The Court held a Status Conference on 9/1/26. In light of the representations and discussion at the hearing, the Court ORDERS as follows: On or before Friday, September 4, 2026, the parties shall meet and confer regarding a reasonable briefing schedule for supplementing their briefing on Defendant Health Care Service Corporation's Motion to Transfer [ECF No. 86], Defendants' Cross-Motion to Sever Plaintiffs' Claims [ECF No. 87], and Defendants' Motion to Hold Motions in Abeyance [ECF No. 98] and file their proposed briefing schedule. If the parties cannot agree on a briefing schedule, they shall email chambers, and the Court will unilaterally set a briefing schedule. After the motions are fully briefed, the Court will set a separate hearing, if necessary. On or before Friday, September 4, 2026, the parties shall also meet and confer regarding the possibility of Plaintiffs filing a third amended complaint. If the parties do not agree on this issue, Plaintiffs may seek leave to amend from the Court, if they deem it necessary and appropriate to do so. The Court has taken under advisement whether the transfer motion should be ruled upon prior to any defensive motions directed to the operative complaint.
