Minute
MINUTE entry before the Honorable Joan B. Gottschall: On February 20, 2020, the court entered an order 9 granting pro se plaintiff Dana Walls's motion to proceed in forma pauperis and dismissing her complaint for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. The court determined that plaintiff's claims fell within the probate exception to federal jurisdiction. The order gave plaintiff until April 7, 2020, to file an amended complaint. That deadline was extended by the court's amended general orders related to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. On May 29, 2020, the court entered 14 the following on the docket: " plaintiff has until and including June 19, 2020, to file any amended complaint. Failure to file an amended complaint by that date will result in the entry of judgment dismissing this lawsuit for lack of subject matter jurisdiction." A notation on the docket states that a copy of the May 29, 2020, minute entry was mailed to the plaintiff. The deadline to file an amended complaint has come and gone, and according to the docket sheet, nothing has been filed. The clerk is therefore directed to enter judgment dismissing this lawsuit for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. Civil case terminated. Mailed notice (mjc, ) (Entered: 07/02/2020)
