   TEXT ORDER: The Court has reviewed the parties' joint status letter dated October 1, 2026 at Dkt. No. 634 . First, the parties' request for an extension of discovery deadlines is GRANTED. Discovery deadlines are extended as follows: fact discovery shall conclude on December 4, 2026, but only for the limited purposes identified in the letter; affirmative expert reports shall be submitted by February 5, 2027; responsive expert reports shall be submitted by April 5, 2027; and expert discovery shall conclude on June 7, 2027. Next, Individual State Defendants' request to file a motion to compel against non-party Cowen Inc., c/o TD Cowen is GRANTED. Individual State Defendants shall file their motion to compel by October 30, 2026. The Court is considering Plaintiff's and Defendant Walsh's discovery dispute at Dkt. No. 613 and will issue its decision in due course. As to Plaintiff's contention that additional depositions may be necessary, see Dkt. No. 634 at 3, the Court does not have adequate information to consider that issue based upon the current record. Further, the Court takes note of Judge Hammer's prior decision dated August 18, 2025 at Dkt. No. 467, which clearly sets forth the proper procedure the parties must follow should they choose to renew this specific issue to the Undersigned. Plaintiff's third request for this Court to reconsider its decision staying certain depositions pending the outcome of the privilege issues in this case is improper and will be disregarded. Finally, in light of the status of the matter, the October 8, 2026 in-person status conference is ADJOURNED to January 21, 2027 at 3:00 p.m. Counsel shall appear in person at the Martin Luther King Building & U.S. Courthouse, 50 Walnut Street, Courtroom 4(d), Newark, New Jersey.    TEXT ORDER: The Court has reviewed Plaintiff and Individual State Defendants' motion to seal the parties' joint discovery dispute letter at Dkt. No. 576 and its exhibits. Dkt. No. 627 . The parties agree that the exhibits should be sealed; however, the parties dispute whether the letter should be sealed, either in whole or in part. See generally 627-1. In short, Plaintiff argues only Issue 2 of the dispute letter should be redacted and sealed, with the remainer of the letter being unsealed, while Individual State Defendants argue either the letter should be sealed or unsealed in its entirety. See id. The Court notes that Issue 2 of the dispute letter remains unresolved and pending further judicial review. See Dkt. No. 591 at 2-3; Dkt. No. 634 at 2. That being said, the Court's sealing analysis required to evaluate the parties' motion at Dkt. No. 627 also involves whether or not certain information in Issue 2 is confidential. Accordingly, due to this overlap, in order to streamline these issues and for purposes of procedure and judicial efficiency, the Court finds the parties' motion to seal at Dkt. No. 627 is unripe for the Court's review, and therefore it is administratively terminated without prejudice. The parties may resubmit a motion to seal Dkt. No. 576 and its exhibits following the Court's resolution of Issue 2. Dkt. No. 576 and its exhibits will remain sealed until further order of the Court. So Ordered by Magistrate Judge Jose R.
