SCHEDULING ORDER: The Court is in receipt of Plaintiff's motion 37 , which requests an extension of time to file a motion for settlement approval. In light of Plaintiff's representations regarding the parties' continued progress following the parties' conference on 8/17/2026, the motion for an extension of time is granted. The parties are respectfully directed to file a proposed Settlement Agreement pursuant to Cheeks v. Freeport Pancake House, Inc., 796 F.3d 199 (2d Cir. 2015) on or before 9/2/2026.
A Cheeks Motion Hearing will take place on 9/17/2026 at 3:15 p.m. before Magistrate Judge Taryn A. Merkl. The parties are directed to call the dial-in number (571) 353-2301. The meeting ID is 362861721. The parties shall dial in five (5) minutes before the scheduled conference. The parties are respectfully reminded that they may file a form consenting to reassignment of this case to the undersigned Magistrate Judge for all purposes, including for review of the settlement agreement and to conduct the Cheeks hearing, and to file such form on ECF no later than 9/14/2026. See ECF 2 . Attached to this Order is a blank copy of the consent form that should be filled out, signed, and filed electronically if all parties wish to consent.
