ORDER: Considering the Joint Brief Pursuant to Court Order (Doc. 30) and the procedural posture of both this matter and Dixon v. D.R. Horton, Inc. Gulf Coast, et al., No. C-716640 (19th Judicial District Court) ("State Court Matter"), and for the reasons assigned by Judge Cain in his Memorandum Order in D R Horton Inc Gulf Coast v. Sawyer, No. 26-113, slip op. at 1-2 (W.D. La. Apr. 6, 2026), (Doc.24), IT IS ORDERED that this matter is STAYED AND ADMINISTRATIVELY CLOSED until resolution of the pending motions in the State Court Matter. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that all pending motions (specifically, Docs. 10, 11) are TERMINATED WITHOUT PREJUDICE to the parties rights to renew after the stay is lifted, if appropriate. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the parties shall file every sixty (60) days joint status reports, not to exceed five (5) pages, advising of the status of the State Court Matter. Upon resolution of the pending motions in the State Court Matter, the parties may file a motion to reopen this case, if appropriate. Signed by Judge John W. deGravelles on 09/16/2026.
