By February 22, 2013, each defendant will respond in writing with an offer. (The demand and offer should not be filed on the docket, just served directly on each others.) The demand and offer must reflect a good-faith attempt to settle, taking into account the risks and expense of litigation, and the length of time it will take to go through summary-judgment briefing, trial, post-trial motions, and an appeal.
