   MINUTE entry before the Honorable Edmond E. Chang: (1.) Plaintiff Clara Ball-Wallace's motion to clarify is denied. The motion says that the prior order, R. 65, refers to her as the "ex-wife" of the insured, R. 66 at 1. The order does not do that, so the motion is denied. (2.) On review of the status report, R. 67, the Defendants are excused from making initial disclosures or participating as named Defendants given the interpleader order, but (a) shall disclose, by 08/10/2026, to Clara Ball-Wallace and Jasmine Wallace the administrative record, that is, the record relating to Gregory Wallace's participation in the Estes Express Lines Group Life and AD&D Plan; and (b) are subject to discovery from Plaintiff Clara Ball-Wallace and Counter-Defendant Jasmine Wallace (who probably is technically a Third-Party Defendant) as any non-party would be. Rule 26(a)(1) disclosures due 08/11/2026. The first round of written discovery requests must be issued by 08/25/2026. Civil Rule 16(b)(3)(A) deadline set for 10/16/2026, after which good cause must be shown to add parties or amend pleadings. Alioto v. Town of Lisbon, 651 F.3d 715, 719-20 (7th Cir. 2011). Before that deadline, Rule 15(a)(2) applies. Fact discovery must be completed by 12/31/2026. **No summary judgment motion may be filed before the close of all discovery (fact and expert) without prior authorization of the Court.** Discovery supervision is referred to the magistrate judge (including the authority to adjust all deadlines). The Court also refers the case for a settlement conference if the magistrate judge believes that convening one would be productive. (3.)
