For Order Hearing
MINUTE (IN CHAMBERS) ORDER RE: MOTION FOR A PROTECTIVE ORDER MANDATING REMOTE DEPOSITION (ECF No. 66 ) AND IMPOSING SANCTIONS by Judge Mark C. Scarsi. The Court denies the motion for failure to comply with the local rules governing motion practice. The Court deems Plaintiff's repeated violation of Local Rule 7-3 and this Court's Orders to be willful. Accordingly, sanctions are warranted. Given Plaintiff's in forma pauperis status, the Court will not impose monetary sanctions on Plaintiff at this time. Instead, the Court orders as follows: Plaintiff shall review the Court's Initial Standing Order, the Local Rules of the Central District of California, and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and shall file within 14 days of entry of this Order a declaration made under penalty of perjury confirming that he has done so.
