   MINUTE ORDER issued by Courtroom Deputy for District Judge Daniel J. Calabretta on 1/16/2026: On January 9, 2026, the Parties filed a Stipulation and Proposed Order Allowing Plaintiff to File a First Amended Complaint (ECF No. 24 ). This comes after the Parties had previously agreed to file a First Amended Complaint (ECF No. 13 ). Plaintiff presently has a pending Motion to Remand with this Court (ECF No. 11 ). In light of the request to file a First Amended Complaint, the Parties shall provide a Court with an update, within seven (7) days of this Order and in no more than 5 pages, as to whether the Motion is now moot. See Royal Canin, U.S.A., Inc. v. Wullschleger, 604 U.S. 22, 35, 38 n.8 (2025) (stating "jurisdiction follows from (and only from) the operative pleading" and "changes in parties, or changes in claims effectively remake [a] suit" and discussing amount in controversy in relation to amendments.)
