   ELECTRONIC ORDER: Before the Court is Plaintiff Mahdi Schindelheim's Emergency Motion for 60-Day Stay of Proceedings (ECF No. 47 ). In his Motion, Plaintiff represents that his attorney of record, John G. Helstowski, has "completely ceased performing" and has failed to respond to his urgent requests since June 26, 2026--two days after the Court entered its Findings, Conclusions, and Recommendations (FCR). Mot. at 1, 2 (ECF No. 47 ). However, the Court notes that Mr. Helstowki continued his representation of Plaintiff after the Court denied Mr. Helstowki's Motion to Withdraw at the April 15 hearing. See ECF Nos. 39, 40, 41, & 43. Plaintiff also invokes his right to represent himself, which the Court liberally construes as a motion to dismiss his attorney. The Court ORDERS Mr. Helstowski to file a written response to Plaintiff's motion by July 10, 2026.

   To the extent the Motion requests "an immediate 60-day stay of all foreclosure actions, sale dates, and district court deadlines," see Mot. at 2 (ECF No. 47 ), the Motion does not set forth any legal basis for awarding such relief. Therefore, the Court DENIES the Emergency Motion to the extent it seeks to stay this matter. (Ordered by Magistrate Judge Rebecca Rutherford on 7/8/2026) (chmb)
