EO: Regarding 36 Plaintiff's Motion to Retransfer Case to the Southern District of Florida or, in the Alternative, for Leave to Appear Remotely, the Court SETS the following briefing schedule: any opposition shall be filed by 7/20/2026; any reply shall be filed by 8/3/2026.
Additionally, no later than 7/17/2026, Plaintiff shall file a Status Report regarding his efforts at serving each Defendant in this case. Plaintiff is reminded that, if a Defendant has been served, Plaintiffs must promptly file proof of service on the docket. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(l) ("proof of service must be made to the court").
Further, Plaintiff is notified that, for any Defendant who was not served before this case was transferred to the District of Hawaii, Plaintiff must request a federal summons from the Clerk's Office of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii before serving such Defendant(s). Plaintiff's request for a federal summons shall be made by 7/17/2026.
The Court TERMINATES the Status Conference set for 8/10/2026 at 9:00 a.m. before MAGISTRATE JUDGE WES REBER PORTER.

Lastly, the Court cautions Plaintiff that he is required to "abide by all local, federal, and other applicable rules and/or statutes." LR 81.1(a). Failure to abide by applicable rules may result in sanctions, including but not limited to dismissal of this case. Id. ("Sanctions, including but not limited to entry of default judgment or dismissal with prejudice, may be imposed for failure to comply with the Local Rules.").
